ATTAIN MIND BODY AND PERSONAL WELL BEING
Introducing Dr. Ann J. Peters

Dr. Rasmussen is pleased to introduce Ann Peters M.D., a specialist in Age Management Medicine.  Upon consultation, she designs a personalized comprehisive program focussing on  bioidentical hormone, nutrition fitness and anti-aging protocols.  Dr. Peters offers consultations  at Dr. Rasmussen's office to  patients interested in attaining mind, body, and personal well being.

Dr. Ann  Peters is uniquely focused to assist patients in a partnership to look, feel and live longer and better lives by delaying, preventing and reversing the symptons and signs of aging.

A graduate with a medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, she completed her medical internships and fellowships at Cornell Medical Center, New York, Harvard School of Public Health and Ospadali Galleria in Genoa, Italy.  She is a past scholar of the Leopold Schlep Foundation and the Organization of American States (OAS), New York.

Her medical affiliations include American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, European Academy of Quality of Life and Longevity Medicine and the International Hormone Society.  Board Certified with the American Academy of Family Physicians, she is a diplomat with the American Board of Family Practice and an award recognized physician from Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Peters specializes in a comprehensive program of proven, clinically sound medical therapies focusing primarily on bioidentical hormone supplementation, nutrition, fitness and anti-aging therapies.  The aging process traditionally considered "normal" is no longer acceptable.  By supporting the endocrine system and restoring the natural hormone levels to their optimal levels.  Dr. Peters can help each patient to live longer with the highest quality of life possible, and restoring the vitality and function one may have had in their 20's and 30's.

A specialist in bioidentical hormone therapy and anti-aging protocols, Dr. Peters closely monitors her patients by taking into account their health history, medical conditions, prescription medications and excercise preferences to formulate a customized program of hormone balance, nutrition, fitness and critical supplements to suit an individual's lifestyle.  Monitoring continues until blood chemistry and hormone levels are balanced and optimal,  then hormone levels are periodically monitored as appropriate for patient safety and to be sure one is achieving their health goals.

Dr. Peters reviews each patients nutrition as a priority in the age management protocol.  The goal of Dr. Peters nutrition and fitness plan is to maximize the results of one's hormone supplementation program and prevent illnesses such as heart disease, type II diabetes and cancer and to boost the body's immune function.  Such protocols include calorie restriction, optimal nutrition, glycemic index, elimination diet and nutrition supplements, as well as, cardiovascular activity, flexibility, resistance training and agility.

The decision to improve your health is one of the most important decisions in your life.  Your health and general attitude toward life are major factors affecting your mind, body and personal well being.  Ann J. Peters, M.D. can assist you in achieving the most optimal health.
